It has been a while since you received an email newsletter from Northern Colorado/ Fort Collins PFLAG! We want to start fresh again this spring, so here is what is going on in April:
Lavender Graduation at CSU: Lavender Graduation 2019 will be taking place Friday, April 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Theater https://prideresourcecenter.colostate.edu/programs-services/lavender-graduation/

Learn how to legally change your name in Colorado, as well as correct your gender marker! The workshop will be lead by an experienced attorney who can answer your questions and guide you through the process. Unfortunately, Colorado Fingerprinting will not be able to attend this event. This workshop is free to attend, but we ask you RSVP at http://bit.ly/201905-ftcollins-wkshp so we can anticipate the attendance and prepare accordingly. Sponsored by PFLAG of Northern Colorado, CSU Pride, NOCO Equality, Eclectic, SPLASH and the Colorado Name Change Project.

NOCOMamaBears: Because we recognize that moms of LGBTQ kids are on a journey that is unique and often very difficult, NoCoMamaBears is starting a study/support group that will run from mid-January through end-of-May. We will study the book, “Hope and Other SuperPowers” by John Pavlovitz, and create community with one another. Meetings will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 7-9 pm starting January 15. If you’re interested, please send an email to [email protected] for more details.
Thank you and see you soon,
